Wishing John King, our long serving crane driver, a happy retirement.

Thursday 28th March saw the retirement of our long serving crane driver, John King.

John has been in the employment of the Widdowson family and in later years TWM for the past 25 years. His knowledge and experienced eye will be hugely missed by all the team.

John is known for his no nonsense, straight talking approach, so it was a surprise to all to see the emotion on his face when Lewis Payne, our Chief Operational Officer, presented him with a scaled model of his beloved Atlas 350 material handler.

TWM moved from Atlas to Liebherr material handlers during 2023 but John was not to be swayed and in a short space of time our Basildon yard saw the emergence of another Atlas 350 (anything to keep him happy!).

Thank You John for your service, you will be sorely missed by the TWM Family.
