TWM achieves FORS GOLD Accreditation

TWM are enormously proud to have been awarded the FORS GOLD standard, having demonstrated our commitment to higher standards and safer working practices across all our transport and logistics fleet.

The FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) sets the standard for safer, smarter and more sustainable road transport operations as well as streamlining operations, cutting costs and optimising routes.

There are three standards: Bronze – Silver – Gold with each requiring evidence that a company’s operation utilises cleaner vehicles and enhanced fuel-efficient practices; including mandating a significant change in approach to elevate the standards within the fleet by setting higher standards for safety, efficiency and environmental sustainability.

GOLD accreditation confirms that an organisation is committed to excellence and the requirements laid out in the FORS standard, which includes demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety alongside improving operating practices through, amongst other things, effective monitoring of fuel, tyre usage and emissions. Those who achieve FORS GOLD status demonstrate the highest standards of compliance.

TWM are delighted to have achieved the FORS GOLD standard and the recognition that this award signifies to our customers and our wider supply chain to promote safer working practices, the achievement of higher operational standards and enhanced environmental sustainability.

TWM now enter an elite group of only 30 metal recovery, waste management, water supply and sewerage companies with the FORS GOLD accreditation, and this is testament to the hard work and commitment of the fleet management team and all our drivers who are and remain committed to higher standards of working practices and environmental protection.
