Purpose
To provide administration support to theoperations and transportation departments, covering all aspects of the office function including weighbridge duties.
Main Job Goals / Accountabilities
- To facilitate the needs and requirements of site operations.
- To ensure customer satisfaction.
- To facilitate full administrative support.
Main Duties / Key Tasks
- Use of weighbridge equipment.
- Weighing lorries on arrival and leaving site.
- Entering the incoming and outgoing weights on to the system.
- Checking and logging drivers’ details as they comein and out of the site.
- Filling in inspection sheets, if required.
- Booking other site visitors in and out.
- Completion of site induction forms and uploading to the system.
- Maintaining the operational folder system data.
- Updating records on computer systems.
- Answering phone enquiries.
- Email enquiries, transport bookings.
- Dealing with other administrative tasks.
- Supporting the Site Manager with general operational admin.
- Ordering of site consumables, PPE and stationary.

- Personnel management and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of geographic areas.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
- Accuracy is key for this role.
- Excellent Customer Services and the ability to work in a busy team is essential.
- Qualifications / Experience Required
- Recycling / waste industry experience.
- Computer skills within Microsoft Office and data entry accuracy.
- Computer skills within Excel and data entry accuracy.
- Relevant experience of operating a weighbridge.
