Our latest weapon to improve vehicle dismantling - the Powerhand Vehicle Dismantler VRS180 has arrived at our Epping site.
Last week our Epping ELV (End of Life Vehicle) recycling centre took receipt of our new Powerhand VRS180 vehicle dismantler to improve the quick and efficient removal of higher-grade materials such as engine/transmission assemblies and axle/suspension components from lower grade vehicle body materials.
The VRS180 Vehicle Dismantler has legs that rise up and down independently allowing a firm grip on vehicle bodies whilst the slender, plier-like Dexterity Grapple removes the valuable materials away from the lower value vehicle body shell. The other added advantage is that it can be fitted retrospectively to our material handler already located on site allowing us to perform multiple tasks with the same bit of kit.
The plier-like Dexterity Grapple also offers an unbroken line of sight from the operator to the vehicle, allowing valuable materials such as copper wiring loom to be extracted from even the tightest of vehicle areas. Its high-power hydraulic cylinders and high torque rotation unit also gives the VRS180 the power to effortlessly dissect the vehicle.
The dismantler will ensure we can recycle even more vehicles and vehicle components arriving at our ELV recycling centre., with increased efficiency and speed in the removal of higher-grade materials.
If you have a vehicle (of any shape or size) that has come to the end of its life and require it to be recycled in accordance with all relevant environmental regulations please get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.
